Barcelona ~ Part Six

My final Barcelona post!  I have a few one-off memorable moments that didn't make a very natural appearance in the scheme of my stories, but are totally worth sharing...

Like the time Daniel wore a false eyelash for a moustache...

And the time I had get creative with my sunscreen...

The time Ariel made a funny face...

And James joined her...

A candid moment...

A sleeping bear...

A playground incident slowed one of us down...

A few spunky parents...

When James thought this was a good idea...

^^ And it actually worked out fine, so...okay then.

Daniel was snacking on sand by day...

...and snacking on people by night...!

I was convinced I could still do a cartwheel, but this photo proves otherwise...

^^ This is actually just a nice picture of James!  Chef James volunteered to cook us dinner one evening.  It was a skillfully prepared meal and absolutely fresh and delicious!

It was also pretty impressive how he survived making that meal, even with all of the cooks in the kitchen at once...

While James, Ariel and Daniel kindly went back to La Boqueria to shop for our dinner, Lesli, Big Andy, Young Andy and I went up Montjuïc to the Museo de Catalunya...

The view was outstanding!

La Sagrada Familia towering like a sand castle over the beach of terra cotta rooftops...

^^ Daniel versus the Chicken

We rendezvoused at the apartment in the evening...

^^ Somebody is ready to eat!

^^ Fried sonso fish

^^ Daniel was nice enough to take this picture.  That is a happy family!

Our final days in Barcelona were sleepy and our brilliant, breezy apartment was starting to become home....

This trip was the first time I spent an extended amount of time with who would become my husband and my family.  I'm so lucky that we had such an incredibly special trip to kick off our life together <3 <3 <3
